2021 Bristol Short Story Prize

Who? The competition is open to all writers around the world whether published or unpublished.
Prize? 1st prize is £1,000, 2nd prize is £500, 3rd prize is £250. 17 further prizes of £100 will be presented to the remaining shortlisted writers. 20 stories will be shortlisted and published in the Bristol Short Story Prize Anthology Volume 14. All shortlisted writers will receive 2 free copies of the anthology.

The Henshaw Competition
What? Fictional short story of up to 2000 words on any theme

Prize? First £200, second £100, third £50. Wining stories will be published on the Henshaw press website, and winners and authors of commended stories will be offered the opportunity to appear in next year’s anthology.
